Early 2000s were a great time. Downloading mixtapes from limewire and kazaa and burning them on blank CDs. Downloading video clips and full movies (took a full day just to download lol). MySpace, Blackplanet, late nights group chats on MSN messenger.... roaming on Underground Hip Hop message boards and when I wasn't online I was playing bootleg Dreamcast games or messing around with Fruity Loops... what a time.

I made the piece while listening to Emperor Bohe Flip Tape called bootleg tape three. The tape blends Hip Hop, Jungle, DNB with a blend of RnB but its so abstract and bass heavy. Overall it gave me a Toronto rave vibe but on some futuristic shit. Give this tape listen!
